The preparation is created based on a precise selection of plant extracts and natural oils, which makes it completely safe for use indoors (growboxes) and outdoors. Since it does not contain synthetic chemicals and toxic pesticides, it can be applied from the seedling stage right up to the day of harvest, without any quarantine period.
How does SMC Spidermite Control work?
Unlike conventional poisons, SMC works through a physical mechanism . When applied to the foliage, concentrated canola oil and coriander form a fine, microscopic layer. This film effectively blocks the insects’ breathing holes, causing them to quickly suffocate. The same layer encapsulates the laid eggs, depriving them of the ability to transpirate (breathe through the shell) and completely stopping them from hatching. This mechanical approach provides a huge advantage – pests cannot develop immunity or resistance to the preparation.

Instructions for use and dosage:
1. Shake the bottle extremely well before use.
2. Add 25ml of concentrate to 1 litre of lukewarm water and mix vigorously until a homogeneous emulsion is formed.
3. Spray the entire plant liberally with a fine mist sprayer, paying special attention to the underside of the leaves , where mites and their eggs hide.
4. For active infection: Repeat spraying every 5-7 days until the pests are completely gone.
5. For prevention: Apply once every 2-3 weeks to build a lasting protective shield.
Important safety tip!
Never spray plants in strong direct light (sunlight or artificial lighting in the tent). Oil droplets act as lenses and can cause serious burns to the leaves. Always apply the product early in the morning, after sunset or at the beginning of the dark period in the grow box. Avoid spraying directly on open flowers.
