Canna Coco Natural - 50L

CANNA Coco Natural is a 100% natural plant medium that provides an advantage over other substrates to the gardener/grower on his plants. CANNA Coco Natural consist of coir dust, derived in India from the processing of Coconuts. The production is subject to strict quality control, so we can vouch for this product's quality.

CANNA Coco Natural is an organic product with no chemical additives. It also is free from harmful pests and/or soil diseases. Coir dust has an excellent water/air system, which provides ideal conditions for growing. Furthermore, It naturally contains a special mould (Trichoderma) which helps protect plants against diseases.

CANNA Coco Natural is a high-quality product made from coir dust which meets the strict horticultural standards. It distinguishes itself from other Coconut substrates by its pure raw material. CANNA Coco Natural consist of 45% wood pulp cellulose which maintains the physical properties for a long period of time. The water/air ratio is 73% and 23% respectively. Moreover, the medium has received ideal breeding conditions by the coir dust which is washed intensively. This allows for rapid development of the crop from the start of the cultivation.

CANNA Coco Natural is a washed but not completely buffered Coco substrate. This product is not steamed in order to fully exploit the benefits of the being existing mould. CANNA Coco Natural is also suitable for multiple use.

Use:

Loosen CANNA Coco Natural before filling the pot. Airily fill the pots until a small pile occurs. Press this pile towards the rim of the pot using the plant. Add water (pH 5.8) until some drainage occurs. Possibly add CANNA Rhizotonic, to improve rotting.

Water with nutrient solution after the initial drought. Please use the appropriate fertilizer, such as CANNA Coco A/B, to invest in quality and security!

Watering:

This substrate is both suitable for upper water supply (brush and sprinkler systems), as for below water supply systems like ebb/flood and flow systems.

The watering should be aligned to the needs of the plant depending on the pot size, growing conditions and growth stage of the plant. Under normal circumstances, rapidly growing adult plants evaporate 4-6 litres of water per day per quad meter.

For larger plants, use pots of at least five litres; the bigger the pot the more constant the root environment. Provide adequate, possibly put a layer of hydro granules on the bottom to provide air and drainage.
