Safety

  • The product is designed for use with HID Lamps and HID reflectors.
  • Electricity can cause death, so always use a circuit breaker with this product.
  • Before doing anything with the unit, make sure the power supply is disconnected.
  • After switching on, allow the unit to discharge by leaving it plugged in for at least 3 minutes before switching off.
  • The unit and especially the lamp will get hot during use. If the lamp has been on, leave it to cool for at least 3 minutes before touching it, and never touch the lamp while it is switched on.
  • Never stack the unit on top of each other since the unit dissipates its heat through its casing.
  • Never switch on the unit without a lamp and reflectors plugged into it.
  • Make sure you use a lamp and reflector that is compatible with the unit. 

Installation

Please make sure that the unit is on a stable, non-flammable surface and make sure that there is adequate ventilation around the unit. Also, make sure that any protective plastic covering on the reflector is removed before switching on the system.

Troubleshooting

If the system fails to operate, switch it off, wait for 30 minutes for the lamp to cool, and then unscrew the lamp and screw it back in firmly again. Switch the unit back on. If the lamp still fails, contact us.
