Tempcon VDL is a temperature controller that is responsible of switching on/off heaters or coolers depending on the needings of your growroom.
Temperature controller Tempcon by VDL has an in-built probe that allows it to boot/shut-down all deviced connected to through it, to make more efficient the use of heaters or air conditioners.
VDL Tempcon is a plug-in temperature controller, that lets your switch on/off enviromental devices when detecting temperatures lower or upper than set up.
Tempcon has two main functions:
- Keep minimum temperature under control.
- Keep maximum temperature under control.
- One chosen the function we want Temcon set our devices to work, it will only be necessary to set up the temperature to keep.
Tempcon allows growers to connect heaters, fans, extractors, air conditioners or any electronic device that might be used for increasing/decreasing temperature.

The SMSCOM fan controller is ideal for dimming down your intake or exhaust fan.
The system ensures a constant air flow. With the left dial you can pre-set your fan on a minimum speed it will run at, in order to operate more efficiently, stealthily and with greater control over temperature and humidity.

When used as fan controller:
The fancontroller works as a manually adjustable dimmer. You can set the fan speed with the left control knob. Just plug your fan into the controller - ready to go!
Attention!
- The right control knob has got no function, until a temperature sensor is plugged in!
- Use as Smart Controller (you need the temperature sensor):
- After you connected the fan controller with the temperature sensor, you can set the desired room temperature with the right control knob. The smart controller automatically adjusts the fans speed, to ensure that the set temperature is satisfied.
- If the temperature in the room decreases below the set temperature, the fan will decrease down to the set minimum speed on the left dial. Perfect for nighttime temperature fluctuations!
- The SMSCOM Smart Controller is a powerful little unit that has thermostat controlled Motion Flow technology to continuously regulate the room. - 2 MODES: master controller has "follow mode" and "inverse mode". Follow mode requires to put only one sensors close to rooms' climate control system so that both sensors are exposed to the same temperature. Lighting control at your fingertips!
Using a Gavita Master controller to control your e-series fixtures offers you maximum control, ease of use, plug and play installation and safety. Just connect the controller cables to the fixtures with the included T-splitter (see diagram), set the dials on the fixtures to EXT (External control), plug the controller and the fixtures directly into mains and you are set to go.
The controller can switch all the interconnected fixtures on and off with its internal timer, adjust them to your required output level (in percentage or exact output power) and even simulate sunrise and sunset to gradually adjust the climate in your grow room when your lights go on or off. This electronic controller replaces expensive lighting timers and contactors while preventing ballast current in-rush when switching on your lights.
Two very important features are the autodim function and emergency shut-down. When the temperature in your grow room rises beyond the control level of your climate control your crop can be damaged beyond recovery. The temperature probe senses this and will automatically dim the lights to not overshoot your safe temperature, and maintain it. The display and warning LED indicate when this happens, and also indicate if this has happened while you were away so you can correct the problem. If for any reason your climate control completely fails and the temperature rises to unacceptable levels the system will perform an emergency shutdown of all connected equipment. The alarm contact of the controller can be connected to your alarm system for instant notification.

Maximum control, ease of use, safety and easy installation. Simply connect the controller cables to your module using the included T-splitter, set the modules to EXT (external control), connect the module and controller to the mains and you are ready to use your lighting system.
The controller can turn on and off all modules connected to it (Model EL2 can control two separate rooms with up to 40 ballasts in each, or just one with up to 80 ballasts), can adjust the desired level of light emitted by the modules (percentage or as absolute value) and even mimics sunrise and sunset, by gradually starting and stopping the lamps when they are turned on and off.
